Interested in becoming a Photographer / Videographer at our event?

Thank you for your interest in being a Photographer / Videographer at our Pro Rodeo!  Please review the following:

1. You must be approved by us before you are allowed to Photograph the Event.
2. This is not a paid position, and you will be required to purchase a ticket to get into the event.  The way you can generate income is by selling your photos.  A lot of you guys have never shot a Rodeo, so this will be an experience you can add to your portfolio.  
3. If you are approved after our review, we will allow you to photograph the event, edit your photos, and post them to your site so that contestants, attendees, sponsors, vendors, etc. can purchase them.  
4. We will advertise your photo collection to our followers and contestants so that they may view and purchase the photos online (from your website).
5. We only have one requirement.  You must provide Twisted Horn Rodeo Company with free access to the entire collection of raw (unedited is fine) photos so that we can download what we are interested in (at no charge). We will NOT sell or give away any of the photos that we download.  

So basically, you would photograph the event, allow us to download what we would like to have, and we will advertise your collection so others can view and purchase from your website......win/win for both of us.

We will only accept a few for these positions.  If you are not selected, don't panic, it may simply be that we are maxed out.  

Here are a few suggestions as to what we are looking for from our photographers.  When taking pictures of Broncs or Bulls, your camera mode needs to be set to take a multiple frames per second.  It's impossible to snap the right shot it happens so quickly.  Then, we can go thru and get the right photo with the most amount of extension, lift, etc. from the Animal.  Some call this setting Burst, Continuous Shooting Mode, or Rapid Fire.  Also, please take photos of the crowd with as many people in them as possible (to show large crowds).  Also, I'm huge on support for my sponsors.  Please get photos with sponsor banners, their vendors set ups, etc.
